Tuvia Bielski

I am continuing to do my series on people who are more of heros than Che Guevara. This is man is name is Tuvia Bielski and what he did is lead a group of resistance group during World War 2 and their mission was  to live and find more of their people. This group was called Bielski Partisans and they where a group of Jews trying to save people. What they did was not only in the very beginning they where attacking taking supplies and striking back while at the same time bring people in and building a community of Jews and others just trying to escape the Nazis. When most of the Partisans in their country Poland they some how escaped and hide deeper into the woods at the same time bring more people in. In the end saved 1,236 Jews from the gas chambers.In the end this man and the community he built to save his people and he did. He was not looking for glory or honor in the end he was just doing the right thing and resisting mass murders while protecting men women and children. He did what was needed to protect something so precious and valuable that nothing can buy it and that is human life.
 God was with these people as I study the history of this group of people it was the only conclusion I can think of. What drove them on what protected them. With God at you side many things are possible even when things seem dark. When the army of light and truth marches nothing can stand in it's way. Nothing can stand before the supreme commander and all who stand against him and chosen people they will be cast aside eventually and this is the promise from God that keep them going and what should keep all going facing evil like ISIS nazis or what ever comes in the future.

Michael Murphy and those who serve.

Now this man and a few others I want to talk about in people who need to be on a T shirt that are true heros unlike Che who the my generation idolizes. This man is name Michael P Murphy and if you ever read the book or watch the movie Lone Survivor then you would know what this man did but to those who did not here is what happen. Him and his team where sounded by terrorist and everyone was shoot and bleeding so he desides to put himself in dnager by going to a ledge to make a call for help on his Satellite phone which ends up getting him killed but not before he got the word out they need help. Unfortunately their help was shot out of the sky and only one made it out of the four man team and the survivor was Marcus Luttrell.

Then you have this man Norman Cyril Jackson who saved his entire bomb crew during World war 2. He was a crewman on a Lancaster bomber and when his team was flying a night misson they got hit and engine was on fire. Instead of bailing out first this man gets out of the plane with a fire extinguisher and tries to put out the fire himeself. He ends up failing and falling off the plane. Now this man was injured before he tried this and on top of that he sliped while up their and got burned by the same fire he was trying to put out and when he saw nothing could be done he let go and parachuted out of their and the fire that he was trying to put out caught his shoot on fire and when he hit the ground he broken a few bones.

Now my point in all of this is these men are just examples of many who risked their lives for others. Without even thinking about their own safety. Many of them just seeing it as their job that needs to be done. The people who put on a unifrom everyday to protect our freedoms and our love ones for very little in return deserve to be recognized as heros. They are willing to take a bullet not only for those they fight with but those who are back at home. When the world is burning they are called to go into hell to put those fires out and some never make it back to tell the tale.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Last week I talked about Che Guevara and the worship of a man that done terrible things in the name of his cause and why he should not be viewed as a hero or be on a shirt. So now this man should be on a tee shirt and is a true hero in my book. His name is Dietrich Bonhoeffer. What he did is started a movement of peace and love when his country geared up for war. He country was Germany the war that is being started by his countrymen is World War 2 and this is a brief on his story.

He grew up in a home where morals where taught even tho his father Karl Bonhoeffer was an atheist he still let his mother teach about the word of God and even helped and worship with them at Christmas. His brother was a famous Chemist Karl Friedrich Bonhoeffer who help discovered the spin isomers of hydrogen. He to was an atheist. In fact when he came to his parents and told them he wanted to become a theologian his whole family beg him not to do it. Then when he became a Pastor they had trouble with dealing with that as well but in the end his parents where proud of him and the stand he made against evil. Even going so far as to help him in his struggle to keep Nazism outside of the Church.

His first battle with the Nazis happen two days after Hitler's election on February 1 1933. He made a speech speaking out against The Fuhrer Principle on the radio that was cut sort by the radio station but accident. He stated that anyone that any leader that put himself before God has turned himself into a false God. He stated in this speech.
 “…if he does not continually tell his followers quite clearly of the limited nature of his task and of their own responsibility, if he allows himself to surrender to the wishes of his followers, who would always make him their idol – then the image of the Leader will pass over into the image of the mis-leader, and he will be acting in a criminal way…The true Leader must always be able to disillusion…He must lead his following away from the authority of his person to the recognition of the real authority of orders and offices…He must radically refuse to become the appeal, the idol, i.e. the ultimate authority of those whom he leads.”

“Only when a man sees that office is a penultimate authority in the face of an ultimate, indescribable authority, in the face of the authority of God, has the real situation been reached…Alone before God, man becomes what he is, free and committed in responsibility at the same time…Leaders or offices which set themselves up as gods mock God and the individual who stands alone before him, and must perish.” 

His second clash against the Nazis started when they wanted the German Church to support The Aryan Paragraph of course the so called German Christians wanted to pass this Paragraph that prevented Jews from being in any high level position in the Church education or government. Many lost their jobs because of it. Which in response and some reluctance from his fellow pastors who did not like the Aryan Paragraph started the Confessing Church Movement to combat the Nazis move into the Church. They tried everything to shut him up and his movement even going as far as placing him outside the country to England and when he was causing more trouble for them their than he with the British press they threaten him and the pastors under him. Making threats to their families if they did not stop with their ways but they refused to give in.

Now skipping ahead to the the plot to kill Hitler and Operation Valkyrie. This was late in the War and he returned to his country from America feeling that it was his duty to go back and be with his movement. When he got back he took a job with an intelligence group in his country rivals to the SS. their job was to help the war but what Bonhoeffer was doing was helping as many Jews as he could to escape Nazi work camps. He got involved with the plot to kill Hitler shortly afterwards. He was not going to be apart of the killing. No his job was to use his connections that he made during England to make peace with the allies. He did this because he felt he could not stand by as the killed the Jews off in his country and around Europe.  But the allies did not want to hear his pleads and the other plotters decided to take it into their own hands and do so without peace with the allies. The plot failed which lead to the round up and executions of everyone involved eventually including him in April 9 1945 Just three weeks shy of Hitler killing himself and the end of the war. He been bounced around from prisons to concentration camps to keep him from being saved by American troops who were close to them on the front. He died a true hero and is what we all should be as followers of Christ.

The cult of Che Guevara

Many wears this guy on their tee shirt or think this guy is a hero representing the fight against the man but it is farthest from the truth. The reality he was a mass murdering racist and this article is to tell the story of Che Guevara and why we must tell the world about who this man really is and break people from his way of thinking.

First off the first time I seen a Che shirt in Church on a young man so these two quotes are for Christians who think this guy is a man of God.

“In fact, if Christ himself stood in my way, I, like Nietzsche, would not 

hesitate to squish him like a worm.”

“I am not Christ or a philanthropist, old lady, I am all 

the contrary of a Christ … I fight for the things I believe in, with all the 

weapons at my disposal and try to leave the other man dead so that I don’t 

get nailed to a cross or any other place.”

If this guy was a Christian why would he say this about Christ?

Matthew 10 32 33 “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.  But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven."
It is clear Jesus does not see him as his follower.

Now for his racist remarks.

"The ***** is indolent and lazy, and spends his money on frivolities, whereas the European is forward-looking, organized and intelligent."

"We're going to do for blacks exactly what blacks did for the revolution. By which I mean: nothing."
“The blacks, those magnificent examples of the African race who have maintained their racial purity thanks to their lack of an affinity with bathing, have seen their territory invaded by a new kind of slave: the Portuguese.” 

“The black is indolent and a dreamer; spending his meager wage on frivolity or drink; the European has a tradition of work and saving, which has pursued him as far as this corner of America and drives him to advance himself, even independently of his own individual aspirations.” 

“Mexicans are a band of illiterate Indians”

Now why should this guy be revered in this country then. He views blacks Indians and even Jews as sub human.  Why would anyone want to support this guy and where his shirt. What this guy says and believes is affront to everything this country stands for and God but yet you still wear his shirt?  Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

His thoughts on government and war.

 “Blind hate against the enemy creates a forceful impulse that cracks the boundaries of natural human limitations, transforming the soldier in an effective, selective and cold killing machine. A people without hate cannot triumph against the adversary.”

 “To send men to the firing squad, judicial proof is unnecessary … These procedures are an archaic bourgeois detail. This is a revolution!”.

 “A revolutionary must become a cold killing machine motivated by pure hate. We must create the pedagogy of the The Wall!” 

“Crazy with fury I will stain my rifle red while slaughtering any enemy that falls in my hands! My nostrils dilate while savoring the acrid odor of gunpowder and blood. With the deaths of my enemies I prepare my being for the sacred fight and join the triumphant proletariat with a bestial howl!”

“If any person has a good word for the previous government that is good enough for me to have him shot.”

“What we affirm is that we must proceed along the path of liberation even if this costs millions of atomic victims.”

 “Let me say, at the risk of seeming ridiculous, that the true revolutionary is guided by great feelings of love.”

“It’s a sad thing not to have friends, but it is even sadder not to have enemies.”

Matthew 5:9 God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.
Does this sound like a man of peace and freedom? Does this sound like a guy you should be idolizing on a tee shirt or for that matter follow in his foot steps? This man is responsible for the deaths of 14,000 people innocent men women and children their only crimes being rich being from a different political view and most just wanted to leave and start a new life in America. Is this the guy you want represented on your tee shirt? I hope many read this and see the monster behind the shirt is. For the mass murder and racist he was and why this man should not be worship in any form. 

This is the man I want on my shirt. Jesus Christ the one that died for me.

And for the next six articles I will point out not only why he should be on your shirt but why five other true revolutionaries should be their as well. So in the mean time I will leave you with this song to reflect on the evils of Che Guevara.  Matthew 15:18 But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person.

How to prevent another German Christian movement.

For those of you who do not know what the German Christian movement was. They were a group of Christians that sided with Hitler. They took liberties with the Bible to push their anti semitic agenda and tried to replace the cross with Hitler and Nationalism. If it weren't for the work of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and his Confessing Church fighting them Christianity would look different in Germany maybe the world even. So what happen why did some people through their lot with in with this clearly false doctrine? From what I been studying most German's churches at the time preached false doctrines of salvation through works or everyone is going to heaven so why even bother with the rules. Also a lot of fear as well. Truth be told the forgot the important lesson In 1 John 4

 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. 4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error."

That was there folly none of them were willing to stand up against or even bother reading the Bible. They were just a bunch of yes men and women believing what ever was feed to them by the pastor. That is why we must study the word of God so we are not so easily fooled like they where and keep others in our churches on the right path For Paul said Galatians 6:1-2

"Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."

And Jesus in Mathew 18:15-17
“If your brother or sister[a] sins,[b] go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. 16 But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’[c] 17 If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

The thing is not once did any of them but a small few question their pastors themselves and then Nazi and by the time it a few of them realized that this was not Christianity it was to late to do anything to stop it and the few had to break away and start their own church. Today their is a danger of this happening in Churches across the country as we move from the Gospel according to the Lord to the Gospel according to me or the average Joe blow on the street. For that is what lead to this Nazi coop which lead to the deaths of millions because without the Lutheran Church support with the German Christians pulling the strings Hitler would of never been able to invade other countries let alone kill 6 million Jews.
